Website Review
Just as every business and web site are different so too are the issues facing these business owners. We've dealt with clients who were strictly focused on some specific short-term needs while others were taking a much longer approach to their business.
For us this means we treat each review with the business owners needs in mind. We want to address the specific challenges you are facing and give our expert analysis of what needs to be done to achieve your business objectives.
Objectives
We have an initial conversation with the site owner or major stakeholder(s) to get an idea on what success looks like to them and the time frame that they are looking at. During this phase we ask lots of questions about their business model, marketing strategy and where they feel their strengths and weaknesses are. Once the project is clearly defined we can then provide a proposal for the client.
Assessment
Here is where we really start to dive in. Depending on the precise objectives we are going to do a full review of the marketplace, the competition, the client's USP and the web site. Success only comes from having a complete understanding of each of these areas. We can also provide a much narrower site assessment on just one or several of these focus areas.
Review
Once we've gathered this information we schedule another meeting with the site owner or stake holders to discuss our findings. We will cover our initial ideas, recommendations as well as the pluses and minuses that these each carry. Typically there will be some low-hanging fruit for some quick wins, and you will also receive short and long term suggestions that will maximize your ROI.
Establishing the Plan
Once we gotten approval we will begin constructing a detailed strategic plan that covers overriding strategies as well as critical tactical needs along with recommended time lines and expectations.
Implementation
For implementations we have done this a couple of ways depending on the individual site owner. We've given strategic reviews and the business did all of the implementation themselves. We've been project managers and drove the process but the business still did all of the heavy lifting. And we've also been very hands on and worked closely with developers and marketing. This is strictly up to your preferences, the comfort level you have in your team and of course time constraints.
Website Review Fees
Fees for web site analysis and recommendations generally range from $2,000 - $20,000, depending on the complexity and size of the site, business challenges and how competitive the niche is. Local business site reviews range from $249 - $1,000.
