Asia Oriental Cuisine

Asia Oriental Cuisine offers a variety of Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese and Korean cuisine. Founded in 2007 they have consistently been selected as the Best Chinese Restaurant in the Lehigh Valley (Allentown, PA) by the Morning Call the area's leading newspaper as well as being selected as one of the 100 Best Chinese Restaurants in the US by Chinese Restaurant News.

Situation:
Asia Oriental was unable to generate much traffic from the web even with their strong reputation as the top rated Chinese restaurant in the area. This was in spite of the fact that they had a website already in place. They did not appear in the Google 10-pack local map nor in the top 50 results for the primary search terms.

Challenge:
Work with the owner who knew the end result that she wanted to achieve as well as the third party web design team to put both local SEO best practices into place and to also put general SEO best practices into place for the primary website.

Results:
Within two weeks after the completion of our initial rollout of SEO best practices Asia was showing in the third spot on the Google 10-pack for both Chinese Restaurant and also Chinese Food in the Allentown search area. The website also achieved first page rankings in the fourth position and was the highest placed restaurant website that wasn't a review site.
