Botanic Choice

Botanic Choice a multichannel supplier of natural herbal remedies, vitamins and supplements has been in business since the early 1900's. With a long and storied history they printed their first catalog in 1918.

Situation:
Botanic Choice was facing several challenges when they contacted Link Juice, they were already in the midst of a compete site overall going from an ASP framework to .Net and this also involved the migration from one third party partner to another. Additionally they expressed the desire to increase their organic traffic from non-branded terms as well as get an increase from organic traffic from Google.
 

Challenge:
Get involved with the new third party partner and institute as many SEO best practices as possible while also navigating through the conversion process to the new third party partner and advising Botanic Choice on the multiple challenges to expect with a complete site overhaul. Coming into the re-launch phase very late in the process presented its own set of challenges as much of the internal site structure was already in place and several of the recommended technical best practices could not easily be implemented.

Results:
After the launch and once the majority of the recommended SEO best practices were put into place organic site traffic was up 97% with Google rising 240%. Non-branded Google traffic was up 406% during this time period and overall sales from Organic traffic increased 51%. During this phase overall Google organic traffic went from 30% of total overall organic traffic to 46% of organic traffic. The total amount of indexed pages in Google also went up more than 250%.
